The Horseshoe Collective Launches Horseshoe Spirits

BOISE, Idaho – The Horseshoe Collective, in partnership with Idaho-based Winning Spirits Brands, announced Thursday the launch of Horseshoe Spirits, the nation’s first collegiate athletics spirits line.

The initial release includes The Collective’s Bourbon, Gin, Rum and Vodka, and will be available at select state-run liquor stores starting on Friday (Sept. 5). Horseshoe Spirits will also be available at Albertsons Stadium’s Stueckle Sky Center for the Broncos’ home-opening game against Eastern Washington.

Horseshoe Spirits will initially be available at the following stores on Friday, Sept. 5:

Store #101, 1419 W Grove St
Store #102, 1734 W State St
Store #107, 1305 S Broadway Ave
Store #110, 808 S Vista Ave
Store #112, 2448 S Apple St

The following week, the line will expand to all of southwest Idaho for year-round availability.

Horseshoe Spirits is owned and operated by Jakob Bradfield, a Bronco alum and former football walk-on (2004-05), along with his lifelong friend and fellow student-athlete Devin Mills.

“We approached the collective with this novel idea to support Bronco athletics and local charities while doing what we love – making great spirits,” Bradfield said. “The Horseshoe Collective went all in with us to launch this first-of-its-kind collaboration, and I am incredibly proud that my alma mater gets to benefit.”

Joe Nickell, executive director of the Horseshoe Collective, said the partnership aligns with the organization’s mission to impact local community organizations through student-athlete name, image and likeness opportunities.

“I’m always appreciative of former Bronco student-athletes finding ways to use their time and chosen profession to impact the next generation of Broncos,” he said. “And this isn’t just another private-label product, it’s high-quality juice. If you like bourbon, gin, vodka or rum, I promise you’ll be back for another bottle.”

The partnership with Horseshoe Spirits impacts the next iteration of the Horseshoe Collective’s model, which still revolves around the organization’s original mission – to impact local community organizations through student-athlete Name, Image and Likeness opportunities.
