BOISE, Idaho –

The Horseshoe Collective, a third-party non-profit organization launched this past September to support Boise State student-athletes and the Treasure Valley community, has officially partnered with its first charitable organization, the collective announced Wednesday.

The partnership, which will primarily involve members of the Broncos’ football team, will lend support to Game Changers Idaho, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides multiple sporting opportunities for children with and without disabilities in grades K-12. Game Changers Idaho initially launched as a flag football program, and has since grown to also include fencing, golf, gymnastics, and soccer.

“I am absolutely elated that The Horseshoe Collective will be getting involved with our organization,” Moreno said. “I am proud of what we have built to support our community at Game Changers Idaho, and to be able to enhance an already-great experience by incorporating young men that many of our participants truly idolize is going to be an amazing opportunity.

“This is a partnership that makes a ton of sense, and having already met some of the Broncos that will be getting involved with our group, I couldn’t be more thrilled for the future of this partnership.”

Beginning with this spring’s Game Changers Idaho flag football league, slated to begin in March, Bronco student-athletes will be involved from start to finish in the organization’s scheduled programming, including tryouts, games, and season-ending celebrations.

“The intent of this partnership is to support an amazing community organization that has phenomenal programming by enhancing the experience with young men that the participants look up to,” Joe Nickell, executive director of The Horseshoe Collective, said. “Some of what we have planned with Gabriel to support Game Changers Idaho has already been shared with the leadership of the Broncos’ football program, and they couldn’t be more excited to get involved with such an amazing cause.

“This is truly an example of how The Horseshoe Collective, and how utilizing this new era of Name, Image, and Likeness, can impact a community. I am proud of what is starting to take shape here in Boise.”

Additional details regarding the Broncos’ involvement with Game Changers Idaho will be shared with members of the media upon request. For inquiries regarding interviews, please contact Joe Nickell.
