Horseshoe Collective Launches Postgame Show

BOISE, Idaho – The Horseshoe Collective is slated to launch the only postgame show on The Blue following Boise State football’s home opener tonight against Eastern Washington, the organization announced.

The Horseshoe Collective Postgame Show, produced by The Stable and sponsored by DrinkSip, a non-alcoholic beer company, will be hosted by Joey Jenkins, co-hosted by former Bronco football student-athletes Tyreque Jones and Taylor Tharp, and feature Jay Tust, Boise State’s Director of Live and Digital Shows.

The show will be streamed live, beginning roughly 20 minutes after the game’s conclusion, through The Horseshoe Collective’s X, Instagram and YouTube accounts, and will be archived and posted to TheHorseshoeCollective.com following its airing. The postgame show will feature highlights, analysis and postgame interviews.

“I am elated to be able to bring this group together and give Bronco Nation an epic postgame show experience,” Joe Nickell, executive director of The Horseshoe Collective said. “There are so many people that have worked to bring this to fruition – specifically Caleb Howard and Dominic Shelden – and I am beyond grateful for all of them.

“Ultimately, I am excited to see what we can do, watch this grow and provide an in-depth look at the outstanding performances of our Bronco student-athletes.”

For its debut season, The Horseshoe Collective Postgame Show is slated to run following the Broncos’ home games.

Jenkins is the co-host of Joey & Lauren on My 102.7FM, voted Best of Boise’s Best Radio Show in each of the last seven years. He is also the in-venue emcee for both the Broncos’ football and men’s basketball teams.

Tharp, the Broncos’ starting quarterback in 2007, also served as an administrator with the team following a professional career that included a free agent stint with the Carolina Panthers. He finished his senior season ranked seventh-nationally in passing efficiency (152.85) en route to all-conference honors. At the time, his completion total was Boise State’s single-season record.

A two-time all-league honoree, Jones was signed as a free agent by the Tennessee Titans following a six-year Bronco career. Jones also spent time with the Jets, Colts and Raiders before moving back to Boise, where he is currently coaching with Boise High School.

The recipient of multiple Murrow and Emmy Awards while working for KTVB, Tust, who was recently hired as the Broncos’ director of live and digital shows, has covered Bronco Athletics for more than a decade.
